CANCELLED- Volunteer Hike to Pearson’s Falls

March 19, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

*This event has been cancelled to minimize the spread of COVID-19, click here for more information about cancelled events in March*
Come join us on a hike of Pearson’s Falls in Polk County! Pearson’s Falls is a beautiful 90 ft waterfall between the towns of Tryon and Saluda hosting over 20,000 visitors each year. It is listed as a Blue Ridge Natural Heritage Site with nearly 200 species of rare wildflowers, trees, and other plants.
Typically there is a $5 entry fee, but this fee is being generously waived as a gift to our volunteers for all the amazing work they do! You must be a regular volunteer to attend.
Meet at Person’s Falls at 11:30 am or meet at the Hendersonville Conserving Carolina office at 11:00 am to carpool. The hike is only about 1/4 mile to the waterfall, but we will enjoy lunch at the picnic tables at the base before making our way back.
Please wear layers and closed-toed hiking shoes. Bring water and a lunch to eat along the hike!
RSVP required, email Natalie at natalie@conservingcarolina.org
*There are no pets besides service animals allowed on this hike*
