Join the Rock Crushers on Conserving Carolina trails in the Hickory Nut Gorge in trail building and maintenance including digging trail tread/surface, removing vegetation, moving rocks, swinging sharp tools, having fun while working hard. Nature Preserve Stewards Join us for our weekly Nature Preserve Stewards workday. You will be working with Conserving Carolina Habitat Restoration staff in a caring environment focused on safety and wellness, learning and camaraderie, on the land. Volunteers will not be asked to handle any chemicals or herbicides or to operate any fossil fuel-powered equipment.
