/ Community Engagement,

Happy National Volunteer Week!

Thank you to all our volunteers!

All of us at Conserving Carolina want to extend a huge thank you to each and every one of our volunteers. In 2019, our volunteers served 7,108 hours to help us protect, restore, and inspire appreciation of the natural world. Without the 389 volunteers who served with us in 2019, we truly would not be able to accomplish everything we do. We are so thankful for each hour donated to further our mission, but we want to take this time to recognize some folks who have gone above and beyond to support us.

Typically during National Volunteer Week we would recognize our volunteers at our Cheers to Volunteer event, but while we can’t meet together in person, we want to make sure to let you know how grateful we are and how awesome you each are. Below are the individuals who have served over 50 hours with us and individuals recognized for their outstanding volunteer service!

Whether tree, sapling, or seedling, thank you so much for your continued dedication to the work we do at Conserving Carolina and for your volunteer service with us.

These volunteers are the 2019 recipients of Conserving Carolina’s Lady Slipper Award, an award given four times each year to honor outstanding volunteers who support Conserving Carolina and our mission of land conservation. This is the 10th year of the Lady Slipper award! These volunteers were recognized with a news post in their respective season and are linked below for you to read about how great they each are! Thank you, again to these folks who have shown continued dedication to us!
