Yoga in Nature

Join us for a special session of forest bathing and yoga at Transfiguration Preserve with Kiersten Angelos, Certified Yoga instructor and Ayurvedic medicine practitioner. Participants will enjoy gentle yoga along the Rocky Broad River.
Bring your own yoga mat and props, and a water bottle.
Dr. Mattie Decker’s friend Kiersten Angelos will begin a monthly offering here of Nature and Yoga! Kiersten is an ANFT-Certified Forest Therapy Guide and a Yoga Teacher certified in both Vinyasa yoga (200RYT) and Ayuryoga (500RYT). She moved here from Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was certified as an Ayurvedic Practitioner with The Ayurvedic Institute. With all of her training, she helps guide others to live life harmoniously by incorporating wellness and holistic teachings. Kiersten has been on all of Dr. Mattie Decker’s walks since moving to Asheville, and is delighted to bring this practice to the community.
Space is limited to 12 participants. Registration is required by RSVP below. RSVP will close at 12:00 p.m. on May 23rd.
*Transfiguration Preserve is private property and guests are only allowed on the property by invitation (a planned event or scheduled group). Thank you.
Donations are not required and the amount of your gift is entirely up to you. A donation of $30 is suggested for forest bathing walks, for those who are able. Donations of $35 or more will include Conserving Carolina membership benefits.
