Wolf Tales

Join the Conserving Carolina Speaker Series at Walnut Creek Preserve on Saturday, June 9th when Wildlife Biologist, Rob Gudger, will present “Wolf Tales” at the Anne Elizabeth Suratt Nature Center at Walnut Creek Preserve at 10:30 a.m.
This is a free program, open to the public; bring the kids to see a wolf in person!
Rob Gudger will discuss the biology of wolves and their relation to dogs, myths surrounding this misunderstood animal, and allow the audience see first-hand what makes these animals so remarkable. Rob raises Timber Wolves (Canis lupus) and he’ll be bringing a wolf to the nature center to educate and amaze the audience.
Rob has his Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and Animal Husbandry from NC State. His environmental work includes working for Duke Power on Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee for 24 years and he has educated the public about wolves for 30 years.
