Member’s Hike: Rocky Mountain

November 23 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come see a beautiful property that YOU are conserving! Join us on a member’s hike on Rocky Mountain.

Rocky Mountain is a current land protection project in Henderson County. Conserving Carolina members have a rare opportunity to be on the cutting edge of conservation, hiking this beautiful landscape before it is protected forever.

Featuring unique rock structures and caves in a chestnut oak forest, this property is abundant in wildlife habitat and biodiversity. Atop the cliff that gives Rocky Mountain its name is a gorgeous view looking out over Henderson County. The property is not open to the public outside of this special guided hike opportunity with Conserving Carolina.

Come experience conservation first hand!
WHEN: Saturday, November 23rd – 10AM
WHAT: The hike is about 2-miles, moderate, on an uneven surface
WHERE: Conserving Carolina office (847 Case St. Hendersonville, NC 28792)

RSVP HERE!

NOTE: There is a maximum of 15 hikers. RSVP required.
