January 4, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
This event is cancelled due to rain and road conditions.
Come see a beautiful property that YOU are conserving! Join us on a member’s hike on Rocky Mountain.
Rocky Mountain is a current land protection project in Henderson County. Conserving Carolina members have a rare opportunity to be on the cutting edge of conservation, hiking this beautiful landscape before it is protected forever.
Featuring unique rock structures and caves in a chestnut oak forest, this property is abundant in wildlife habitat and biodiversity. Atop the cliff that gives Rocky Mountain its name is a gorgeous view looking out over Henderson County. The property is not open to the public outside of this special guided hike opportunity with Conserving Carolina.
Come experience conservation first hand!
