Time: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join us at the Noquisi Initiative – Ani and Wanei Culture Fest! This festival will be fun for the whole family, so come celebrate music, art, and food among community!
You can try out Cherokee words, taste frybread tacos, or even participate in a traditional Cherokee Friendship dance! Relax and listen to Appalachian Bluegrass or the haunting sounds of a Native American flute. Browse the traditional wares of painters, potters, weavers, beaders, jewelers, fiberists, and carvers.
There will also be a dedication ceremony for a new kiosk highlighting the Cherokee that will be installed at our Strawberry Gap Trail!
Food will be available through the Native Nummies Food Truck serving frybread tacos.
Beverages will be vended by MerTail Mocktails (NA). Their elixirs are organic and wildcrafted, featuring bioregional diversity throughout the Americas and Appalachian folk medicine formulated into beverage concentrates that are colorful, flavorful and steeped in energetics and herbs.
