Honoring Mother Earth: A Nature Connection Retreat

April is Earth Month, a time to celebrate and connect with our extraordinary planet. Quiet your mind and awaken your senses during this rejuvenating afternoon retreat at Transfiguration Preserve* in the Hickory Nut Gorge of Bat Cave, NC. Celebrate spring while tending to your relationship with Mother Earth, yourself, and connecting with a community of like-minded people.
Your guide, Kelly Bruce, will lead you on a gentle journey through the spring forest, weaving mindfulness, breathwork, forest bathing (Shinrin Yoku) and nature therapy together for a restorative afternoon. We’ll celebrate the experience with a wild-foraged tea ceremony and snacks. Bring an open mind and an open heart. All are welcome.
Your guide, Kelly Bruce, is a writer, forest therapy guide and nature connection mentor based in Hendersonville, NC. Her mission is to help others deepen their connection with nature, community and Self. Kelly is an Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Certified Guide and Certification Consultant. She is Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified by the American Red Cross.
Participants should be able to walk one mile on uneven terrain with a moderate grade. Modifications are available with advance notice. Please email [email protected] with questions or concerns.
Advance registration required. Additional information and directions will be emailed to all registered guests 48 hours before the event. This experience is limited to 12 participants. Registration will close at noon on April 11.
Donations are appreciated but not required. The amount of your gift is entirely up to you. A donation of $30 is suggested for forest bathing, for those who are able. Donations of $35 or more will include Conserving Carolina membership benefits.
*Transfiguration Preserve is private property and guests are only allowed on the property by invitation (a planned event or scheduled group).
