FULL – Earth Day Clean Up at DuPont

April 22, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join us for a community cleanup at Fawn Lake Loop in DuPont State Forest for Earth Day!

We will clean up trash from the Fawn Lake Access Parking lot, up the Fawn Lake Rd. and back around the loop collecting as much trash as we can. The hike may be up to 3.5-4 miles total.

Afterwards, head over to the Riveter to join their outside community event, meeting other local nonprofits, and enjoying music and food.

Volunteers must be able to walk moderate distances across rough terrain.

What to Wear:
• Face mask
• Dress for the weather
• Close-toed shoes

What to Bring:
• Drinking Water
• Snacks
• Work gloves (if you have a personal pair)

Covid-19 Protocol:
We will be following Conserving Carolina’s Phase 3 Covid-19 Standards, this will include:
• Hosting groups no larger than 10 participants
• Providing every volunteer with their own, disinfected, set of tools
• Physical distancing of 6ft+ between every volunteer
• Wearing face masks when around the group
