Common Milkweed Rescue!

Monarch on common milkweed

Join us for a native plant rescue!

A garden of Common Milkweed at a private residence in Pisgah Forest is in need of rescue and relocation! Join us to help dig up these important pollinator plants and a larval host plant of the Monarch butterfly!

Participants are welcome to take rhizomes/plants home to plant or they can help pot them up to be used in native pollinator gardens and restoration sites in the region.
