Would you like to learn how to build a bat box? Join us during Bat Week for our bat box building workshop! This event is free! Bats are facing a decline and one cause is due to habitat loss, let’s help our bat friends by providing houses for them. We will provide all the materials for the box but BYOH (bring your own hammer). We will be re-purposing old pallets! You will be able to take your box home and set it up in your own backyard! We will meet in the pavilion at The Park at Flat Rock. After we finish building we will take a bat walk around the park and see what species we can spot.
