Join us for a community road side litter sweep and hike on one of our favorite trails!

We will clean up litter along our Adopt-a-Highway section on South Mills Gap Road (meeting at Griffin’s Cafe parking lot) from 10 AM – 12 PM. Tools, safety vests, and gloves will be provided.

Afterwards, please join us for an optional hike up Bearwallow Mountain (optional; 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM). This is a rewarding ~2 mile (round trip) hike with nearly 360 degree views!

Volunteers must be able to walk moderate distances across rough terrain.

What to Wear: Work pants, long sleeves; dress for the weather | Close-toed shoes

What to Bring: Drinking Water | Snacks / lunch | Work gloves (if you have a personal pair)
