Bracken Preserve Trail Workday

Background Info:
Bracken Preserve is owned by the City of Brevard and contains 365 acres of property. It holds hiking and biking trails, and was opened to the public in 2012. The preserve connects to Pisgah National Forest which allows access to the Fish Hatchery and Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education.

Workday Description:
Come show some love to this area! We will sweep bridges, put up trail blazes, and clean drains. We will meet at the Preserve trailhead at 10AM, and wrap up around 3pm.

What to Wear:
Long pants
Closed toed shoes
Layers

What to Bring:
Lunch
Snacks
Water
Tools (shovel, broom, hammer, McLeod, rake)
Work gloves

COVID – 19 Protocol:
Teams of 8 or less
Socially distant
PPE if not immediate family
