Double Your Impact This Giving Tuesday!

Giving Tuesday 2025

Make twice the difference this Giving Tuesday!

At a time when our natural world is facing so many challenges, and it seems like we’re always hearing bad news, you can help create a different story—a story of hope. In fact, recently there has been so much good news for conservation! And you can keep that momentum going.

This Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, you have the chance to do twice as much to protect our natural world, strengthen our resilience, and create new places to get outdoors. This year, we have a generous matching donation of $20,000 from an anonymous donor.

Thanks to this generous matching gift, every dollar you contribute will have twice the impact to protect the places you love. If you make a gift online on Giving Tuesday or send a check designated for Giving Tuesday, it will count toward the match!

How You Are Making an Impact

This Giving Tuesday, your gift will go twice as far to:

Protect the Places You Love

Lately, we’ve had some big success stories—and we have big goals. In just the last few months, we:

We recently celebrated the milestone that we have helped protect over 50,000 acres. But with so much development pressure and the urgent need for natural climate solutions, we need to do more. This is your chance to protect even more of the places you love—places that we need now more than ever.

Make Our Landscape More Resilient

Healthy lands and rivers make us safer in the face of extreme weather. When you support restoration, you are bringing back natural systems that not only absorb floodwaters and reduce droughts. They also give us clean water and provide rich wildlife habitat that soon becomes full of life. You can see this for yourself when you visit places like Kings Bridge!

During Helene, just three of our natural floodplain restorations stored 1.25 billion gallons of water. Now, you can create a more resilient landscape by supporting our goal to restore five more sites along the upper French Broad River.

Create New Trails and Greenways

We all need nature to live our best lives, so we all need places to get outside. Your gift will help create new trails in the Hickory Nut Gorge State Trail. It will help us move forward on our ambitious vision for 31-mile Saluda Grade Trail, even as we celebrate the growing Ecusta Trail. Your gift will also help create more local parks and trails—like the new Bell Park and Little White Oak Mountain Trails

Will you help us create more trails and greenways in the coming year?

Giving Tuesday

  • Create New Trails: You can create opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors—whether out in the mountains or close to home.
