$45 Million for the Ecusta Trail!
There has been so much amazing news about the Ecusta Trail this month! We were crossing our fingers to win one of two major grants that would be a game-changer for the trail. And then, amazingly, we won them BOTH! Together, these grants provide over $45 million for trail construction!
Both grants come from the U.S. Department of Transportation and were awarded to the City of Brevard for the Ecusta Trail. They include a $21.4 million Nationally Significant Federal Lands and Tribal Projects grant and a $24.5 million Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant.
We are still in the process of working out the details of the grant requirements but we’re very excited!
