Do you ever wish you could do more?

Do you wish you could protect more of our wonderful natural places—before they’re gone? With record heat and fires blazing across WNC, do you wish you could do more about climate change?

This Giving Tuesday, you can do more. We have a big opportunity because a generous donor will match all donations up to a total of $10,000! On Giving Tuesday, you can help twice as much. You can protect twice as much.

Conservation is a very real way that you can reduce the impacts of climate change—while you are protecting our wonderful natural world. That means places like this gorgeous waterfall, this new link in our growing trail system, and this treasured family forest. Talk about a win-win.

This Giving Tuesday, you can do twice as much—because, for one day only, your gift will be doubled! We have a very generous one-day Giving Tuesday match of $10,000. Thank you so much to the anonymous donor who is making this matching campaign possible! This is a big opportunity for us, because all donations made on Giving Tuesday up to a total of $10,000, will be doubled.

That’s the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. Please plan to donate and help us meet the $10,000 match.

How Your Gift Makes a Better World for Our Kids

On Giving Tuesday, your gift goes twice as far to create a better world for us and our kids. In a year with some of the hottest months on record and drought that led to rampant wildfires, the need for climate solutions is urgent. And YOU are part of the solution. Here’s how:

  • You’re protecting forests and natural areas. Trees, plants, and rich, living soils are storehouses for carbon, keeping this greenhouse gas out of our atmosphere. And it’s a win-win: At the same time, you’re providing beautiful scenery, places to hike and play, and homes for wildlife.
  • You’re bringing wetlands back. That’s a big one. Wetlands sponge up water, so if there are major storms, we don’t get hit as hard with floods. At the same time, if there are droughts, like this year, the water stored up in wetlands is there to replenish rivers, nourish plants and animals, and circulate back into the atmosphere, bringing rain. Win-win: Wetlands are vital for birds and fish and they give us cleaner water.
  • You’re helping wild things adapt: Many plants and animals need to shift their range as it gets warmer. You’re making sure they have places to go, with conservation corridors they can follow and places where they can find habitat. Win-win: These corridors are for people too—places to create and connect trails through beautiful landscapes.

This is your opportunity to have your donation doubled. Please plan to make a Giving Tuesday gift and help us meet the $10,000 match!

Thank you for your generous gift!
