Little White Oak Mountain, behind Polk County Middle School, will become a new local park, with up to 10 miles of trails for hiking and biking. That’s great news for the kids in hiking club.
Conserving Carolina protected over 900 acres of this scenic landmark, which just became public land. Three hundred acres will become a new Polk County park and 600 will add to the Green River Game Lands.
