Growing up in the mountains of Wyoming, Carlie has always had a deep respect and connection to nature. Moving to Wisconsin in her teenage years, Carlie graduated with a degree in Public History from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, before joining the workforce in 2011. After relocating to Asheville, North Carolina in 2014 with Wells Fargo Bank, Carlie became enthralled with all the Appalachian region has to offer. It was here she met her husband, picked up a few new hobbies and created a home. When not helping run the office at Conserving Carolina, Carlie can be found running on a trail or city park, working in her garden, or enjoying time with her family.
