As the Trails and Greenways Manager, Kristin leads Conserving Carolina’s efforts to build new and maintain existing public access trails and greenways. Kristin has called WNC home for over 20 years and is very grateful to live and work in such a beautiful place. She has worked as a watershed planner for the State of NC, in consulting for Confluence Engineering and Headwaters Engineering and for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Kristin has a BA from the University of Virginia in Environmental Science and Masters’ degrees in Public Policy and Environmental Management from Duke University. In her free time, she stays busy biking and gardening.
