Kristin was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She received her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Environmental Studies in May 2017. Throughout college, she was heavily involved in a student leadership organization. During this time, she grew a love for service and nonprofit programming. After a few years in the design field, Kristin decided to follow her heart and transition into the nonprofit sector. She moved to Asheville, committing to a year of service with an AmeriCorps program focused on putting opportunity within everyone’s reach, elevating this flatlander to her full potential.

You may recognize Kristin as she was hired as the Temporary Program Coordinator during a staff member’s family leave in 2021. Most recently, Kristin was with Henderson County Habitat for Humanity as their Volunteer Coordinator where she met her Fiancé. She is excited to continue her professional growth in nonprofit programming with Project Conserve. Kristin Boelter, soon-to-be Fletcher, enjoys hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway, praising the Lord, and trying local food trucks!
