See Results of the Saluda Grade Trail Study
A year-long study of the Saluda Grade Trail was presented to the public at two meetings on Aug. 6 and 13, attended by an estimated 450 people. The proposed trail is a 31-mile rail trail following the route of the historic Saluda Grade rail line, which is now under contract. Here are the slides from the presentation, which cover:

- Opportunities and constraints for a potential trail along this rail line
- Recommendations for safety at road crossings
- Analysis of condition of bridges along the route
- Analysis of slopes, particularly in regard to ADA accessibility
