Jason chose to serve with AmeriCorps Project Conserve because he wanted an opportunity where he could help his community flourish and enjoy the natural world.
Native plants have been a passion of Jason’s for quite some time, so he is excited to help maintain and improve the Asheville Botanical Garden’s collection of over 700 native plant species! This space serves as a great educational tool for the community to learn the benefits and witness the beauty of the flora of this region. Jason is looking forward to improving space and sharing his love and curiosity for native plants with the greater community!
This is Jason’s second service term with AmeriCorps Project Conserve!
