Chloe graduated from UNC Asheville with a B.S. in Environmental Science concentration Geoscience, and Certificate in Sustainability. Partnered with Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, she taught Appalachian ecology to local schools. As a field assistant under the U.S. Geological Survey, she collected geologic data throughout the Spruce Pine region and utilized GIS to analyze nine stream profiles for evidence of regional faulting.
Under a water resources project for NASA DEVELOP, Chloe explored GIS as a tool to visualize environmental impacts. Seeking opportunities to merge science communication and conservation, she found Project Conserve.
As Watershed Coordinator for RiverLink, Chloe seeks to gain hands-on experience in streambank and habitat restoration to promote long-term resilience for Appalachian communities and ecosystems.
