How to Make Your Year-End Gift

Dear Friend,
As we come to the close of 2023, I want to thank you for your generous support that makes a lasting impact on our region. Your gifts protect special plants and animals, restore wetlands, create new opportunities for people to experience nature, and make our area a better place to live and grow. Thank you for making a difference in 2023. As you consider your end-of-year giving to Conserving Carolina, I want to share with you some helpful information about the different methods of contributing.
Donations in the mail:

Donations received in the mail will be counted as a 2023 donation if the envelope is postmarked on or before December 31, 2023. Mail with a postmark after December 31 will be processed and dated January 2024. Please note that we cannot ‘back-date’ gifts received in another calendar year, nor can we use the date written on the check. Checks sent via FedEx, UPS, or other non-federally sponsored mail services must be received by December 31, 2023, to be receipted as a 2023 contribution.
Online Donations
Online donations are the fastest way to ensure your gift is received by the end of the year. Online donations will be counted in 2023 so long as they are made by midnight EST on December 31, 2023. If you need assistance, you may give me a call at 828-697-5777 ext. 209 during business hours. (Keep in mind our office is closed December 30 and 31.)
Donations in Person
Our office is typically open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. It is recommended to call ahead if you would like to drop off your donation to make sure that our office staff are not out running an errand when you arrive. Please call 828-697-5777.
Please note our office will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. December 29 will be the last weekday our office is open in 2023. If you need to make a gift in person via check, please deliver it by 3 p.m. December 29.
