How to Make Your Year-End Gift
A holiday season message from our Development Director, Jenn Tutor

Dearest Friends of Conserving Carolina,
As 2025 draws to a close, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for partnering with Conserving Carolina. Your support continues to plant seeds of hope, protecting wildlife, restoring landscapes, and creating spaces where people can connect with the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Every acre preserved, every trail opened, every species given a chance to thrive is a demonstration of your generosity.
This season, I hope you feel pride in the difference you’ve made. Your commitment nurtures a brighter, more resilient future for our communities and the natural world we share.

Changes to Charitable Giving Rules
As we approach the end of the year, I also wanted to share that the tax rules for charitable giving are changing in 2026. If you’re thinking about a gift for conservation, making it before December 31 can help protect our beautiful landscapes and may have tax advantages under current rules. Each gift is unique, and you should always consult your tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of your gifts. We’re here to help as one step of your giving journey. You can also review this Fidelity Charitable article for helpful tips on year-end giving.
Thank you for planting seeds of hope this season. Your generosity grows stronger landscapes, thriving wildlife, and meaningful experiences for everyone who loves these special places. Wishing you a joyful holiday and a new year filled with peace, wonder, and growth.
Sincerely,
Jenn Tutor
Development Director
