Double Your Impact On Giving Tuesday!

Giving Tuesday

Make twice the difference this Giving Tuesday!

Do you ever wish you could do more to protect our natural places—before they’re gone? After the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, the urgency of strengthening Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina’s resilience is clearer than ever. This Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, you have the chance to do twice as much to fight climate change, safeguard precious habitats, and connect people to nature, thanks to a generous matching donation of $10,000 from an anonymous donor.

A generous anonymous donor has offered to match donations up to $10,000. Every dollar you contribute on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3 will have twice the impact in protecting our region’s natural beauty, creating greenways and trails, and restoring vital wildlife habitat.

How You Are Creating a More Hopeful Future

This Giving Tuesday, your gift will go twice as far to:

Make Our Landscape More Resilient

When you help restore our natural world, you are making our communities safer during extreme weather events like Helene. Last year, we completed five restoration projects, including Kings Bridge, Pleasant Grove, and Dodd Meadows, which all did their part to absorb floodwater from Helene. This year, we’re taking on nine more ambitious restoration projects! With your help, these restorations can add up, making our landscape safer and more resilient.

Protect the Places You Love

You are protecting valuable wildlife habitat, important farmland, beautiful scenery, and clean water sources. Imagine protecting more places like the 250 acres recently added to the Green River Game Lands, the thousands of acres we’re working to protect near Lake Lure, and the new 192-acre Cedar Cliffs Nature Preserve. This is your opportunity to protect even more of the places you love!

Create New Trails and Greenways

We all need nature to live our best lives, so we all need places to get outside. You can help us repair trails damaged during Helene, even as we move new trail projects forward. With your help, we are working on new segments in the 100+ mile Hickory Nut Gorge State Trail. We’re moving forward on the 31-mile Saluda Grade Trail, and we look forward to opening the first section of the 19-mile Ecusta Trail soon. Will you help us create more trails in the coming year?

Your Donation Can Make 2x the Difference on Giving Tuesday!

By giving to Conserving Carolina on Giving Tuesday, you will double your impact. That means you are doing twice as much to:
  • Restore Resilience: You are bringing life back to degraded landscapes, making our region safer and richer in wildlife.
  • Protect Land: You are conserving much-needed wildlife habitat, important farmland, clean water sources, and places of wonder.
  • Create New Trails: You are creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature.

Join us in creating a more hopeful future for Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. Please plan to make a gift on Giving Tuesday!
