Event Schedule:

Directions:

Parking:

  • Parking volunteers will direct you on arrival. Passenger drop-off and limited accessible parking will be available.

Attire:

  • Elevated casual. A sweater or jacket is recommended due to the air conditioning in the building.

Weather:  

  • Rain or shine.  The event will be held indoors with access to an outdoor courtyard.

Check-In:

  • Please check in at the registration table upon arrival.
  • You will receive 2 drink tickets and a name tag with your assigned table number. Per Conserving Carolina’s Alcoholic Beverage Policy, no additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
  • If you lose your nametag at any point, please return to the registration table by 5:15 pm.

Seating:

  • All seating is assigned by table number. Please be courteous when choosing your seats at your table. You may be sharing the table with other guests or sponsors, and you may need to scoot a seat over to accommodate groups.
  • If you have any issues with your seating assignment, please visit the registration table before 5:15 pm.

Accessibility:

  • Blue Ridge Community College is wheelchair accessible with a designated guest drop-off area. Please contact us if you or your guests have any questions about accessibility.

Drinks:

  • Attendees over 21 years old will receive tickets for 2 adult beverages at check-in.
  • Per Conserving Carolina’s Alcoholic Beverage Policy, no additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
  • Beer and wine will be available. Non-alcoholic beverages do not require a drink ticket.
  • The reception hall bar will close at 5:30 pm. The auditorium bar will close promptly at 6:30 pm.

Meal:

  • Passed hors d’oeuvres will be available upon arrival. The buffet line for dinner will open at 5:30 pm.
  • A limited vegetarian and vegan buffet will be in a separate area from the main buffet. Please notify registration if you are vegan or vegetarian for instruction.

Photos:

  • Conserving Carolina staff will be taking photos of the event and attendees throughout the evening. Let photographers know if you do not consent to have your photo captured and potentially published in Conserving Carolina media.

Matching Gift:

  • Donations towards the Future Fund Matching Gift Campaign will be accepted throughout the event via check, credit card, or online. Visit the Conserving Carolina Information Station or follow the directions found at each table.
  • The Information Station will be in front of registration until 5:30 pm and then inside the auditorium from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.
  • Instructions, remittance envelopes, and a link to donate online will be displayed on each dining table.
