Youth Interpretive Hike: DuPont State Forest

Join Conserving Carolina and the Carolina Mountain Club for a Youth Hike! Hike with us to Triple Falls, High Falls, and Hooker Falls as we interpret the land. Learn about the history of DuPont State Recreational Forest and the importance of public lands.
We will be meeting in the Upper Hooker Falls Parking lot near the restrooms. The hike is 3.5 miles. We will first see Triple Falls, then hike to High Falls. We will also stop for lunch at the pavilion before hiking to Hooker Falls.
Carolina Mountain Club’s Youth Participation Challenge is designed to welcome and encourage youth learn about our public places by participating in fun and educational hiking experiences.
