We can’t live without water! It is an important resource that we need to care for and conserve. Come learn about how manmade pollution and litter affects this valued natural resource, what are micro and nano-plastics, how these plastics affect us, and what can we do about them.
L. Beth Button – Beth grew up in Villanova, PA steeped in natural science with both parents being biology teachers by trade and nature lovers by choice. She spent her childhood exploring the Susquehanna River watershed with her older brother and monitoring water quality with her father. Water and water quality concerns have always been a part of her life. She graduated from Western Maryland College with degrees in education with a specialization in environmental education and art. Beth has been involved with environmental education since and is excited to share her interest with you today.
The Walnut Creek Preserve Speaker Series programs are made possible thanks to our partnership with the Preserve.
