Virtual Green Drinks: How Climate Change is Devastating our Communities

August 13, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, we have shifted this event to be online via Zoom.

On Thursday, August 13, we welcome Tony Dunn, a former USFS Fire Behavior Analyst and a Camp Fire survivor. He will outline how climate change contributed to the fire and how climate-driven disasters like the Camp Fire disproportionately impact vulnerable communities and their ability to recover. Tony Dunn is a former firefighter, fire ecologist, fire behavior analyst and endangered species botanist with the US Forest Service in California. Tony and his wife lost their home in the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, CA and relocated to North Carolina in July 2019.

PRE-REGISTER

Once registered, you will receive an email allowing you to join the online presentation via computer or call in by phone.

**Please note it will start at 6pm, rather than the usual 5:30pm**
