The Transylvania French Broad Stewards, the Town of Rosman, Conserving Carolina, Headwaters Outfitters, and the Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority are joining up again to put on the eighth annual Upper French Broad Riverfest and invite residents and visitors to come spend a fun day celebrating the river! Join us at Champion Park in Rosman, NC for free, family-friendly festival with live local music, hands-on educational activities from many local businesses, interactive displays about the French Broad River, and a scavenger hunt with prizes for kids and adults, free tubing for everyone, food trucks (Feta Flav, Jenny’s Minis Donut Bus, and Baabals Ice Cream and Family Grill), and more (and don’t forget your swimsuit!)! This event also coincides with the annual Hellbender 20-Miler canoe relay!

Exhibitors include: Headwaters Outfitters, Pisgah River Rangers, Mills River Partnership, Pisgah Chapter Trout Unlimited, Transylvania Bird Club, Brevard Clay, North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Transylvania County Library, North Carolina Forest Service, FIND Outdoors, Gaia Herbs, Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, Riverlink, Hemlock Restoration Initiative, Wai Mauna SUP, Conserving Carolina, Transylvania Public Health, North Carolina Leave No Trace, Earthshine Nature Programs, Blue Ridge EV Club, and North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission with special guest, Rocky the hellbender!
