Join us for a walk at the Deerwoode Reserve to appreciate nature among community.

This easy walk will take place on a relatively flat trail and will be led by Mary Miller from Conserving Carolina and John DeLuca, a Wildlife Biologist who speaks Spanish and English fluently. Guides will be talking about bird activity taking place on the property and we hope to see some newly arriving songbirds migrating to the area from Central and South America!

Deerwoode Reserve is 175 acres of land protected by Conserving Carolina, along the banks of the French Broad River.

We will meet at Deerwoode Reserve, 395 Riversedge Rd, Brevard, NC 28712, at 9:00 AM. Don’t forget your binoculars!

Acompáñenos en un paseo en las reserve Deerwoode para apreciar la naturaleza entre la comunidad.

Esta caminata fácil se realizará por un sendero relativamente plano y será guiada por un guía que habla español e inglés. El guía hablará sobre la actividad aviar en la Reserva Deerwoode. ¡Esperamos ver algunas aves cantoras recién llegadas que migran a la zona desde Centroamérica y Sudamérica! La Reserva Deerwoode se encuentra a 11 kilómetros del Campamento del Río Davidson, en el Bosque Nacional Pisgah. En esta caminata, el grupo explorará aproximadamente 3 kilómetros de sendero, en su mayoría sin pavimentar.

La reserva Deerwoode tiene 175 acres de tierra protegida por Conserving Carolina, a lo largo de las orillas del río French Broad.
