Green Drinks: Waste Diversion in Henderson County – Saving valuable landfill space for future generations

Henderson County’s Environmental Planner, Paulina Jones, will lead an informative and engaging discussion on the wide range of waste diversion options available to local residents. The session will highlight practical ways individuals and households can reduce what they send to landfills, with a special focus on the County’s composting and recycling programs. Attendees will gain insight into how these initiatives work, why they matter for environmental sustainability, and how simple changes at home can make a meaningful impact on the community. Whether you’re new to recycling or looking to deepen your commitment to greener habits, this presentation will offer valuable tips, resources, and inspiration to help you take the next step.
