Gardening for Life Celebration
March 4, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
This event is currently full. We are livestreaming this event so everyone can hear Tallamy’s message. Watch March 4th, at 1:45 PM for free HERE.
Because this event is at capacity, we are encouraging non ticket holders to attend via livestream and not to come to this event in person. (Because of limited parking, we have had to correct our earlier invitation for non ticket-holders to come for the exhibits.)
If you reserved a ticket but will not be able to attend, please email maddie@conservingcarolina.org, so that your spot will be available for someone else. Thank you!
Join us to celebrate nature in the Carolina Foothills and beyond. Learn how every one of us can make a difference to improve, protect and preserve healthy habitats and how it all begins right in our own yards.
The keynote address by Doug Tallamy begins at 2:00 p.m. In addition there will be:
- Educational exhibits
- Community organizations
- Book sales
- Native plant displays
and more
Highlight of the celebration: Keynote presentation by Doug Tallamy, entomologist, renowned ecologist, and author of the NY Times bestselling book Nature’s Best Hope. Tallamy advocates for changes individuals can make in their own yards and in their communities to protect and preserve native species, biodiversity and thus, our planet.
This is a free community event brought to you by the Gardening For Life Project team and made possible thanks to our amazing community partners. Find more information at www.gardeningforlifeproject.org/
