Forest Bathing: Slow and Sensory
June 14 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
A new offering Friday Forest Bathing
Friday, June 14th from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Come and experience forest bathing within the beauty and peace of the Transfiguration Preserve. This is a very special piece of Earth, comprised of approximately 500 acres within the Hickory Nut Gorge. This unique private property has been lovingly preserved. Just being here is a real treat.
You will be offered an opportunity to slow down as you are guided to fully engage all of your senses within the atmosphere of the forest
We will walk slowly, pausing from time to time, for approximately 1.5 miles. There is some elevation change and uneven terrain. If you have any concerns about your ability to participate in the walk, feel welcome to reach out directly to Marsha by emailing magale2016@yahoo.com or texting 803-984-1190.
Advanced registration is required. Additional information and directions will be emailed to all registered guests 48 hours before the event. This experience is limited to 12 participants.
Marsha LePhew is a Certified Guide by the Association in Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). For more information about her background, feel welcome to visit ForestBathingFinder.com
