Join the Conserving Carolina Community!

There’s a new place where you can connect with people who share your love of nature and the outdoors! It’s the Conserving Carolina Community, a new private group on Facebook.

We know that Conserving Carolina members, supporters, and volunteers are wonderful people and we wanted to create a friendly and supportive space where you can share your ideas, experiences, and inspiration.

JOIN THE GROUP

What is the Group For?

In the group, you can:

  • Share photos—like a gorgeous mountain view, a beautiful wildflower, or an interesting animal.
  • Inspire us with your wildlife -friendly gardening and show us what’s happening in your backyard.
  • Show us your kids, grandkids, friends, and pets enjoying the great outdoors.
  • Get important conservation news that might not show up in your news feed.
  • Find out about upcoming Conserving Carolina events, like guided hikes, nature walks, and expert speakers.
  • Post about other conservation-related events in your community.
  • Celebrate the amazing work that Conserving Carolina volunteers are getting done.
  • Ask questions. In this group of nature-lovers, you’re bound to get some good advice.
  • Share your expertise or observations. There’s so much we can learn from you.

TRY IT OUT

Not into Facebook?

No worries, we know it’s not for everyone. That’s why we offer multiple options for staying in touch like email, and our YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. And, of course, in-person events like forest bathing walks and volunteer days!

But if you do sometimes use social media and you want to engage more with conservation and connect with some inspiring people, this group could be for you. We came up with a few ground rules to keep it a positive experience.

forest bathing participants

There are lots of wonderful people out there, exploring the natural world and giving back—whether they’re taking a forest bathing walk or sampling the flowers. Thanks for being part of the Conserving Carolina community, online and in the real world! We appreciate you.
