Madelon has been an integral part of the Foothills community for nearly five decades. After graduating from Converse College, where she developed a deep love for the area she made the region her home. Alongside her late husband Tony, she managed Fairview Farms, a prominent thoroughbred racehorse training facility. Their daughter Megan, an award-winning independent film producer, also grew up immersed in the equestrian and performing arts culture of the area.
Transitioning to a career in real estate, Madelon’s passion for land conservation led her to spearhead several preservation projects, including the formation of Greenspace of Fairview, which protects over 1,300 acres of open space. She has successfully safeguarded over 2,000 acres from development, earning recognition from organizations like Upstate Forever.
Actively involved in community organizations, Madelon has served on various boards and received accolades for her leadership and advocacy efforts, including a Realtor of The Year Award and an Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award.
Her dedication to preserving the rural character and quality of life in the Foothills is evident in her ongoing commitment to local land conservancies, community initiatives, and advocating for responsible development practices. Madelon’s unwavering dedication and leadership continue to shape and enrich the Foothills community.
