Amos Dawson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. He has over 42 years of experience in the practice of environmental law, and is a former assistant attorney general of the Environmental Protection Section of the North Carolina Department of Justice. He also served as a staff attorney to the North Carolina Coastal Resources Commission. In addition to his environmental law practice, Mr. Dawson is a certified mediator who has successfully conducted mediations in complex environmental, commercial and personal injury cases in state and federal courts. Amos has been involved with Conserving Carolina for about five years and currently resides in Saluda, North Carolina.
