11th Annual Upper French Broad Riverfest!

The Transylvania French Broad Stewards, the Town of Rosman, Conserving Carolina, and Headwaters Outfitters are joining up again to put on the 11th annual Upper French Broad Riverfest! We invite residents and visitors to come spend a fun day celebrating the river! Join us at Champion Park in Rosman, NC for a free, family-friendly festival with free tubing, live local music, face-painting, food trucks, hands-on activities and games, and much more!

There will be free tubing for everyone and the opportunity to enjoy and get into the river, so don’t forget your swimsuit and towel!

The Local Harvester and Grand Olde Station food trucks will be there, as well as Baabal’s Ice Cream!

Participants will include MountainTrue, Mills River Partnership, Earthshine Nature Programs, Transylvania County Library, The Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County, Oxbow River Snorkeling, Colonial Acres Farms, Pisgah Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Pisgah River Rangers, Friends of the Ecusta Trail, Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition and Blue Ridge EV Club, Hemlock Restoration Initiative, Gaia Herbs, Waterfall Keepers of NC, Friends of Gorges State Park, Blue Ridge Audubon, Transylvania County Bird Club, Brevard Sustainability Council, NC Cooperative Extension of Transylvania County, Brevard Clay, FIND Outdoors, NC Forest Service, Citizens Climate Lobby, the No Poop Fairy, Shelly’s Laser Art , Rosman Fire Rescue, Transylvania County Rescue Squad, AmeriHealth Caritas North Carolina, and more!

All of our hosts and partners will have interactive displays and educational opportunities related to the French Broad River and the plants and animals that call this region home!
