Accountant

The Accountant supports Conserving Carolina’s financial operations through a combination of transaction processing, grant and fund accounting, and financial reporting. This role works closely with the Finance Director and an external accounting partner to ensure accurate records, strong internal controls, and effective financial processes.

This position is well-suited for an accounting professional with nonprofit experience who is comfortable managing detailed transactional work while contributing to financial reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement. The Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial stewardship of conserved lands and community-driven programs.
