Volunteer with Friends of Brevard Area Trails
We are pleased to introduce Friends of Brevard Area Trails. This new grassroots group will enhance trails, greenways, and blueways in and around Brevard. Come out and volunteer with us! Volunteer activities include helping to break ground on new trails, maintaining trails, cleaning up litter, and otherwise enhancing Brevard area trails, greenways, and blueways.
The very first project for Friends of Brevard Area Trails will be to break ground on a brand-new trail in Bracken Mountain.
Conserving Carolina is coordinating this group in partnership with the City of Brevard and Transylvania County. The goal of the program is to promote use of trails, greenways, and blueways by both residents and visitors. It will work to create opportunities for public health and well-being and to promote the trail system as a place for enjoyment, exercise, transportation, wellness community, and peace.
