Tay grew up wandering around the forests of Washington State. He attended Santa Clara University in California, earning a B.S. in Environmental Science with a focus on hydrology, renewable energy, and environmental technology. Tay recently spent a summer in Bend, Oregon, researching the effectiveness of stream restoration along the Whychus River with the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council. He has a passion for hydrology and wishes to share it with others through his service with the AmeriCorps Project Conserve. Tay is excited to serve with the Environmental Quality Institute, working as a Stream Monitoring Coordinator. In his free time, you can find Tay getting lost in the mountains across the country.
