Sarah grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where she spent most of her free time exploring the city’s parks and forested areas, developing a deep love of nature. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Ecology and a Certificate in Water Resources. During her undergraduate research, she worked in the Nantahala National Forest and found a second home in Western North Carolina. Sarah served with American Conservation Experience (ACE) in Asheville during the summer of 2018 and fell in love with the city and the community. She is excited to be back in Asheville for the long term.
