Originally from Houston, Texas, Hannah has made Asheville her home for the past four years while pursuing a B.S. in environmental studies with a concentration in earth science at the University of North Carolina Asheville. While at UNCA, she competed for the bulldogs NCAA division I women’s swim team. Hannah’s love for the water and the great outdoors led her to find a passion in hydrogeology and focus her undergraduate research on the water quality of urban streams in the Reed Creek watershed in Asheville. Hannah previously interned at Crescent Point Energy where she worked on environmental due diligence analysis and easement renewals for oil and gas land. She is excited to put her land management experience to work protecting the mountains of WNC she lovingly calls home! In her free time, Hannah is an avid foster parent to shelter puppies and enjoys running and hiking with her dog Sadie.
