Originally from Houston, Texas, Hannah has made Asheville her home for the past five years while serving with Project Conserve and pursuing a B.S. in environmental studies with a concentration in earth science at the University of North Carolina Asheville. While at UNCA, she competed for the Bulldogs NCAA Division I women’s swim team. Hannah’s love for the water and the great outdoors led her to focus her undergraduate research on the water quality of urban streams in the Reed Creek watershed in Asheville. Hannah previously interned at Crescent Point Energy, where she worked on environmental due diligence analysis for oil and gas land. She is excited to serve a second term with Project Conserve and SAHC, where she enjoys putting her land management experience to work protecting the mountains of WNC she lovingly calls home! In her free time, Hannah enjoys running and getting outdoors with her dog Sadie.
