Connor grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where he developed his love for the natural world through time spent outdoors. Subsequent trips to the American West helped cement this passion and led him to pursue environmental study and work; This resulted in a degree in Environmental Studies and Chemistry from Bowdoin College. He was introduced to conservation and stewardship work as an AmeriCorps Project Conserve Summer of Service Member. Connor also worked for the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust in Bath, Maine before returning to WNC. Connor is excited to further his experience in land protection work with SAHC through Project Conserve and spend time in the North Carolina mountains again!
