Chandler Adams was born on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where her love for all things outdoors blossomed as a young child. Having grown up on the beach, Chandler always looked forward to taking trips to the mountains with her family and attending Camp Greenville as a child during the summers. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Clemson University studying Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Some of her undergraduate research includes studying biodiversity of fish in upstate South Carolina using backpack electrofishing and determining life history strategies of the Bartram’s bass in order to contribute to native bass conservation. Chandler’s love for the mountains brought her to Western North Carolina last year where she served as the Outreach and Education Associate for Mills River Partnership. She is excited to be returning to Project Conserve for a second year with Mills River Partnership. In her free time, Chandler can be found playing with her dogs, hiking, biking, cooking and baking.
