Growing up just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Callia turned to nature as her place to feel creative and safe. She has worked towards several dreams including, but not limited to teaching, photography, and being a vagabond in a van down by the river (ask her about New Zealand). After obtaining a B.S. in Environmental Science and Biology, Callia has held roles as a land steward, community programs educator, and an asset manager. A love for travel, desire for living outside of her comfort zone, and determination for continually learning new skills have landed her here in beautiful North Carolina to serve as a Trails Coordinator. Her main focus is showing others how they can fall in love with and have an appreciation for things that formerly intimidated them or couldn’t hold their interest.
