We are having our first ever Work and Learn Party! Join us to celebrate National Volunteer Week and Earth Day, for a morning of volunteer work and an afternoon of learning to reward us for all our hard work. This month’s will be focused on litter and wildflowers!

We will first have a roadside cleanup and then take a hike to learn about wildflowers. We will clean our Adopt-a-Highway section on South Mills Gap near Bearwallow Mountain then take a wildflower hike on one of our properties led by Clint Calhoun, a local naturalist and outdoors man.

10:00am-12:00pm: roadside cleanup

12:00pm-1:00pm: lunch break and drive to trailhead

1:00pm-2:30pm: wildflower hike

Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring your own lunch and plenty of water. Extra water, snacks, and necessary tools will be provided.
