Date: March 19th, 2019

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: Landrum Library

Speaker: Tim Lee, naturalist and educator

Do you remember catching frogs or watching tadpoles swim in a pond? Frogs and toads are all around us, yet they can be hard to see hidden within their natural surroundings. Come join us as we explore the fascinating natural history, sounds and diversity of frogs found in the southeast.

Tim is a native South Carolinian, and he has studied and taught as a naturalist and biologist throughout the southeast for more than 27 years. For the past 17 years he has been the Interpretive Ranger and Naturalist for the South Carolina State Park Service’s Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area which encompasses Jones Gap and Caesar’s Head State Parks.  At the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, Tim conducts research and provides educational programs for children and adults.

Tim is also the South Carolina Park Services coordinator with the South Carolina Master Naturalist Program and he is an Educational Leadership Partner for the South Carolina Aquarium. Tim is member of the National Association of Interpreters, an honorary member of the Upstate Master Naturalist Association, and an honorary SC Statewide Master Naturalist.
