Land Trust Day
June 1, 2019
Land Trust Day is a statewide event that highlights the important role that protected lands and the outdoors play in our communities. The event is an initiative to create partnership opportunities and build relationships between businesses and their local land trusts. Businesses show their support for land conservation by donating 10-20% of their daily sales to their local land trust. This support funds natural lands, clean air and drinking water, environmental education, and public recreation throughout our service area. In return, the land trust promotes the business through social media, email, print, and other channels.
Join Conserving Carolina on Land Trust Day by visiting our supporting partners: Mast General Store of Hendersonville, Brevard Brewing Company, DD Bullwinkel’s, Old Rock Café, Katie D’s New York Bagels & Deli, Sherman’s Sports and Army Store, TheeChopt Sandwich Shoppe, Mountain Deli, The Purple Onion, Stone Soup Market & Cafe, Newman’s Restaurant at the Orchard Inn, Gale’s Chimney Rock Shop, Carter Lodge, Chimney Rock Bark & Twig, April’s Boutique, Bubba O’Leary’s, and Bat Cave Cider Mill.
It’s too late for 2019, but if you’re interested in participating in Land Trust Day 2020, contact Donor Relations Manager Jenn Tutor at 828-697-5777 ext. 209 or jenn@conservingcarolina.org to discuss participation and promotional opportunities catered to your business’s needs.
